RD: I think we enjoy them as much as the players. They're a mixture of amusement and off-kilter comedy as well as touching moments. Therefore, I believe they've been extremely successful. Regarding the future of micro-holidays, I don't think we can think of anything other WoTLK Gold than what we've already discussed publicly, but it looks that players are embracing these holidays.
TD: One of the objectives more than ever with the Legion and one of the benefits of an MMO is that you're able to have the possibility of creating a living, breathing environment that not only do you interact with NPCs, you also connect with your fellow players and this means that things like micro-holidays as well as things like a lot of the content that we've done in 7.2 is still able to deliver the type of interactive experience you'd expect from an MMO. In essence, it's making use of the potential of World of Warcraft and helping to enhance that sense of, "There's always something new today. There's always something to learn." It's a feeling of discovery and wonder when you get involved in the game and attempt to determine what you would like to accomplish today. The Micro-holidays support that.
This is an interesting question and one that I've also seen discussed in forums is whether we'll get to see flowing capes. Now that you've realized that belts, and other items, have a little more life to them do capes flow?
The TD says: with 7.2 I'm not going to call this is one of our important features right out of the box, however there are a lot of things to the game that are technological updates. One of these is armor 2.0 that allows us to do full geometry-based armor sets that will be available in tier 20 in The Tomb of Sargeras, which will look pretty amazing. Additionally, some of our artifacts appear to be made up of physics-based flails, and that's pretty cool. And I can see that it's a natural progression that will lead us to a path where things like flowing capes could become possible, but...I do not have the ability to guarantee flowing capes as of this time. The idea is cool idea though, and I'd also like to see...one of my top comments was from a Redditor commenting "Wow! Valen is really elevating his eyebrow game. He's have big eyebrows which fly in the WOW WoTLK Classic Gold I'd love to be able to see it too!"
